Small Woodland Owners Group (SWOG) SWOG is open to all small woodland owners and was formed to aid the enjoyment, conservation and biodiversity of British woodland. The site is frequently updated and has an active forum. The group has regular meetings throughout the year and a monthly newsletter. Free of charge and sponsored by woodlands.co.uk.
Small Woods Association (SWA) Set up to increase awareness of benefits to the environment, economy and society of sustainably managed small woodlands across the UK. Runs events, visits and training for members, produces a quarterly magazine 'Smallwoods', and has an annual conference. Provides an technical enquiry line, and is represented on regional and national policy for promoting the interests of small woodland owners, managers and workers. Also runs courses and social forestry programmes, as well as Coed Lleol in Wales and a UK wide coppice restoration project.
